With over 20 years in the biz, Leo Rosa Borges built his career on the conviction that creativity is the only answer worth pursuing. He’s a multi-award-winning creative leader with experience across some of the world’s most renowned agencies. Currently the Executive Creative Director at Havas Creative Dubai, Leo spearheads one of the region’s most awarded creative teams.

Leo’s career spans global markets, including Los Angeles, where he contributed to iconic campaigns at Saatchi & Saatchi and RPA, and Dubai, where he kicked-off his international career at Ogilvy. A two-time Dubai resident, Leo made a mark as part of the team behind UN Women’s “Autocomplete Truth” campaign, which earned the region’s first Titanium Lion at Cannes Lions.

With an idea-first mindset, Leo has crafted memorable campaigns for global brands like IKEA, Toyota, Coca-Cola Company, Disney, and Honda. Highlights include a celebrated Super Bowl spot for the Toyota Highlander and impactful initiatives for organizations like Ad Council and Reporters Without Borders.

Over his career, Leo has collected more than 60 major international awards, including honors from D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, and Clio. A passionate advocate for creative thinking, he’s doing his part to keep it alive in the ad world.
