Production is not immune from the buffeting of rapid
change that the creative industry is undergoing. Understanding the challenges
and opportunities that exist or are forming matters to anyone with a stake in
the advertising industry. ADFEST offers two production summits to delegates
each year, The World producers Summit and Producers+ - the former a global
forum, the latter with its focus on APAC. Here is why these forums deserve your
must-attend tick.
THE WORLD PRODUCERS SUMMIT: A forum for shaping the future of production
The World Producers Summit is a conversation is for everyone, from production company people to agencies and advertisers, interested in how production is changing and the new opportunities within it. ADFEST invites all delegates interested in the future of production to be part of a vital conversation that will help with business planning.
Production is changing rapidly with new challenges and new opportunities constantly emerging. The World Producers Summit offers the opportunity to listen and be heard for everyone who understands the critical role production has in creating films that are effective for advertisers, and who wants to share experiences and thoughts on future opportunities.
It was created by the AICP, APA and EPA and also takes place in Cannes each year during Cannes Lions. AT ADFEST, it offers delegates the benefit of participating in that discussion and sharing an Asian perspective.
The World Producers Summit at ADFEST will be chaired by Steve Davies, Chief Executive of the Advertising Producers Association (APA), the UK producers association - a-p-a.net.
Under Davies’ leadership, the APA has built on its core functions to provide members with new services, including marketing advice and opportunities to connect with new markets locally and internally through the APA Show and The Future of Advertising. As an attorney, Davies advises APA members on contracts, copyright and production issues. He also founded the Masterclass, a course that trains 110 producers per year. In addition, he has developed business initiatives and ensured the APA is a respected and effective advocate for its members’ interests.
The World Producers Summit will be held on Friday 20 March at 13.00-15.30 in Room Pattaya 3, Mezzanine Floor, PEACH. Pre-registration is required, strictly first-come-first-served, and limited to 30 delegates only. To sign-up, you must be a confirmed registered delegate of ADFEST 2026. PRODUCERS+: The 1:1 way to be connected to
Asia’s production ecosystem
Producers+ skips the talk, drops the slides, and gets straight to what matters - meeting the right people. The workshop brings the focus back to what truly drives creativity: human connection. It is designed to foster genuine collaboration across Asia’s production ecosystem where the next great partnership might not come from an algorithm, but from a conversation.
Following the 2025 edition of Connecting Producers in Asia, 2026’s session has evolved into a more interactive format. Instead of a traditional talk, PRODUCERS+ will enable executive producers, senior producers, and business leads from production houses, post-production studios, audio houses, film studios, event production companies, film directors’ agencies (…) to connect through curated 1:1 meetings, and sharing business-changing ideas.
Yann Williot, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of ME Group & Echo Films, and Nancy Tran, TVC Executive Producer- Global Markets of ME Group & May Production in Ho Chi Minh will lead discussions that focus on potential synergies such as, knowledge-sharing on crew culture, best practices & market strengths; budget dynamics; cross-border IP development; partnerships & co-production models and regional expansion opportunities…
ME Group is Vietnam’s leading one-stop-shop production hub that brings together some of the most specialised production teams under one roof. These include May Production – TVC & Films PH; Echo Films Vietnam & Singapore - TVC PH & Line Production; Ginger Shots - Tabletop & Motion Control Studio; 18 Studios - TVC & Digital PH; 299 Production - Commercial Photography Studio & Talent Agency; and Yam - Social Media Content & Social Commerce Agency.
Williot arrived in Vietnam in 2005. What was meant to be a short adventure became a 20-year journey through one of the most exciting creative industries in SEA. In 2007, he co-founded Echo Films in Saigon, focusing on TVC production. In 2020, he co-founded ME Group, now Vietnam’s largest commercial production network. Its goal is to unite diverse teams and disciplines to deliver world-class production value & services for both local and global clients - bridging local talent with international creative partners.
Tran studied film production in Paris. After an early stint in France working on long-form projects and film financing, she returned to Vietnam in the early 2000s to build her career in multiple production roles, including producer, audio producer, and post-producer. She joined May Production in 2016 as a TVC Producer. Following a short period focused on feature films production (freelance), she rejoined ME Group, working across May Production, Ginger Shots, & Echo Films as Head of Production. And in 2026, she stepped into the role of TVC Executive Producer - overseeing South-East Asia and global markets.
The workshop will be held on Friday 20 March at 15.30-17.00 in Room Pattaya 6, PEACH. Pre-registration is required, strictly first-come-first-served, and limited to 40 delegates only.
