Clay is a cultural anthropologist with passion for brand building and an emphasis on insight-led ideas that merge creativity, technology and media. His experience spans across global, regional & local roles based in London, New York, Istanbul, Shanghai, Amsterdam and Singapore.
Clay has spent over 5 working with TCCC, Unilever, Mondelez, Kraft Heinz, L’Oréal and P&G. He has extensive travel and hospitality and governmental brand experience. He also spent 3 years on brand side at Reckitt where he set up an in-house creative, media and content team.
Active in the industry, Clay has presided as a Cannes juror ’21, in addition to Spikes and Effie’s. He has mentored Young Cannes Lions, Media Works APAC and PAC EMEA.
He has contributed to Cannes winning entries, Effie’s and has been awarded an IPA, the ARF David Ogilvy Award, amongst others. He regularly publishes and publicly speaks.
