ADFEST
is delighted to confirm that the ADFEST Lotus Awards 2020 virtual awards
ceremony will take place on Monday 15th February 2021, 6:00pm
(UTC+7).
Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of ADFEST says, “Earlier
this year, we made the difficult decision to cancel both the judging and
festival for ADFEST 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It didn’t feel
right to ask our jury to review award entries at that time. However, our jury
are now hard at work judging this year’s entries in time for a virtual awards
ceremony next February instead. And while we’re sad that we cannot welcome you back
to Thailand yet, we look forward to celebrating our industry’s talents
virtually instead.”
Jimmy Lam, President of ADFEST, adds: “We would like
to warmly thank everyone who entered the ADFEST Lotus Awards 2020 for their
patience and understanding. Our jury are now hard at work judging this year’s
entries in time for a virtual awards ceremony next February. We would like to
thank them for carving out time to judge work online in spite of conflicting
time zones and commitments. We are grateful for their dedication to celebrating
our industry’s talents and raising awareness of the important role we play in
building resilient, thriving brands and businesses.”
ADFEST
is also accepting entries to the ADFEST Lotus Awards 2021 until 25th
December 2020. Winners will be unveiled at a separate virtual awards ceremony, with
dates to be announced soon. A new sub-category, Resilience Through Creativity, will reward the best
creative ideas across all Lotus categories, which demonstrate the strength of
the human spirit in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

creative festivals included in the WARC Creative Rankings, the annual worldwide
league tables for the global advertising industry. As a not-for-profit
festival, ADFEST is committed to celebrating the diversity of creative ideas and
creators in Asia Pacific and the Middle East through the unique Lotus Roots category,
which honours powerful ideas inspired by local culture.
