Calling herself an accidental creative, Astri recalls dreaming of becoming a doctor since she was a child but her failure at the med school admission test put an end to that. She then jumped into design and advertising because she thought all you needed to do was draw. Pleasantly surprised to find that design and advertising encompass so much more, she has never looked back since.

With Kinetic Singapore since 2013, Astri has risen to assume the mantle of Creative Director, and recently Partner. Her time in the industry has seen her taking on projects ranging from design and advertising, social and branding, to the spatial and the experiential. Her work has received recognition at international creative shows like the D&AD Awards, Cannes Lions Awards, The One Show, Young Guns and Tokyo Type Directors Club. In addition to snagging Best Young Designer and Best Young Art Director at The Gong Show, Astri is also a recipient of the President’s Design Award (Design of the Year 2020), Singapore’s highest design accolade.
