Born in Tokyo and raised in the U.S. and Korea, Ai offers a global perspective and a passion for creativity. She began her career as an account executive at Hakuhodo before transitioning to the creative side as a producer. Ai has worked with renowned brands including Unilever, Ajinomoto General Foods, Nike, Google, and Hermès, gaining deep insights into global markets and a strong belief in the power of brand.
Since joining Uber Japan in 2019, Ai has been instrumental in establishing the brand, starting the journey with the launch of Japan’s first brand campaign, the award-winning “Tonight I’ll Be Eating...”. Ever since, Uber Eats has grown into one of the most iconic brands in the market, earning "Brand of the Year" in 2024.
As Head of Brand for Uber Japan and Uber Eats Taiwan, Ai oversees creative strategies for Uber Eats, Uber Taxi, and reputation efforts in Japan that is grounded in local insights to deliver creative campaigns that is bold, direct, and built with heart.
Outside of work, Ai is a proud mom of two energetic boys and a lifelong Star Wars fan, dedicated to the galaxy far, far away.
