ADFEST is partnering with D&AD to bring Alex Lampe, Director of WiedemannLampe in London to Thailand where he’ll host a free workshop for ADFEST 2017 delegates called
‘From Zero to Hero: Creating Connected Emotive Experiences’. Lampe is a designer and programmer with a background in innovation who’s recognised as a leader in the field of design. His workshop at ADFEST 2017 will explore how we leverage technology to create experiences that really connect with people.
This is a short, sharp workshop that will get you thinking through your heart, mind and eyes. ADFEST delegates attend free-of-charge, but spaces are limited to only 30 delegates so it’s essential to register by completing

Innovate, where participants will create relevant digital concepts that put humans first;
Make, when participants turn those ideas into something concrete, tangible and feasible; and
Play, where participants put the experience into the hands of a person to test their idea and share it with others.

Lampe set up WiedemannLampe with Benji Wiedemann in 2007, with a view to creating completely integrated brands, stories and experiences. With over 13 years in the industry, he was originally grounded in traditional graphic design but was seduced by the potential of digital design. Prior to setting up WiedemannLampe, he worked at renowned brand agency, Lewis Moberly.
“I try to achieve an innovative and seamless integration between physical and digital experiences. As a developer, I am able to communicate and express ideas and solutions with digital teams, and as a designer I can translate those back to the design team. I’m looking forward to sharing these skills with delegates at ADFEST this year,” says Lampe.
