Katrina Alvarez-Jarratt is a highly awarded, hugely passionate Executive Creative Director with a background in Art Direction. 

She began her career in New Zealand but jumped the ditch over a decade ago, eventually finding her home at TBWA\Sydney where she works across leading local and international brands.

Her favourite advertising doesn't look like advertising at all - it's smart, simple and varies from clever media hacks, to earned thinking and innovation solutions.  

Career highlights include creating a campaign to #Classify Consent, making the first plate to recognise drivers returning to the road after trauma with R plates, helping parents hack their kids’ tech devices at dinnertime with the Dolmio Pepper Hacker and creating a way to PLAY NZ during the depths of COVID.

Over the course of her career she has made fine art for Toshiba, an actual cookbook for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and a horde of Zombie followers for Foxtel. Her client history is broad and covers everything from FMCG to fashion, from tourism to tech. 

She loves to give back to the creative community and is currently the National Co-Head of AWARD School as well as sitting on the AWARD Council. She is also occasionally called to guest lecture at University of Technology Sydney and The University of Manchester.
