As the brand reached its 50th anniversary, it faced a dual challenge: a retail market dominated by fast-fashion efficiency and a society experiencing \"digital fatigue\" from \r\nthe rise of AI-generated content. Under the theme \"CRAFTSMAN.SHIPS,\" SHIPS aimed to reaffirm the essential value of \r\nthe \"Human Touch.\"\r\n<br>The project’s cultural significance lies in its revival of \"Monozukuri\"—the traditional Japanese philosophy of meticulous craftsmanship. We intentionally eschewed digital shortcuts, choosing instead the labor-intensive process of \r\nhand-stitching 500 frames. This served as a metaphorical reflection of the brand’s 50-year journey: a slow, steady accumulation of \"one stitch at a time.\"\r\n<br>By utilizing discarded threads from SHIPS’ own warehouses and tasking the actual tailors and artisans associated with the brand with the embroidery, we transformed an anniversary message into an authentic proof of identity. \r\nIn an era of instant gratification, this work serves as a cultural statement, proving that the raw passion of human craft remains the ultimate luxury and the truest form of brand sincerity.","is_link":false}],"files2":[{"name":"CP02_004.mp4","type":"mp4"},{"name":"CP02_004_DI01L.jpg","type":"jpg"}],"count":2}
