FESTIVAL : WELCOME TO THIS WONDERFULLY VIBRANT LIVE ADFEST 2023
Welcome to ADFEST 2023 RISE, a very special ADFEST, the first live festival, judging and awards presentation since 2019. We are so pleased to be able to host you at Pattaya again.
The 2023 theme, RISE, signifies optimism and confidence for an upbeat future and eager anticipation of the continued growth of creativity.
ADFEST has lined up the region’s most insightful speakers for this first live event for four years. They range from How Brands Can Take Advantage of the Billion Dollar Podcast Market and Meta’s exploration of Adtertainment, to Rising Through Human Craft: Unlocking the Humanity of Technology and BBDO Asia’s views on Brand Purpose in Asia. There’s even a session on the Rising Sauna Experience and its impact on customer experience by ADK Group, and now that travel has resumed, a discussion by Madam Films on the imperative of sustainability in production. ADFEST plans to inspire you with the latest and greatest in production, digital, content and technology trends to help you unearth the power behind the world’s greatest creativity. The World Producers Summit will bring the region’s top producers together again to gain valuable insights, brainstorm possible solutions to common issues and explore new ways of working. It is chaired this year by Steve Davies, Chief Executive of the Advertising Producers Association (APA) and Executive VP of the Commercial Film Producers of Europe (CFPE) together with Valeria Berezhna – a spokeswoman for Young Director Award in Francois Chilot’s place. It is open to just 40 producers from production companies and agencies, with only one representative per company permitted. Reservation is strictly first-come-first-served. Register here.
The must visit craft regular, Production Hut returns to ADFEST, the hub for meeting the region’s leaders in production and production-related services. The Fabulous Five emerging filmmakers will finally get their chance to show the world what they can do. They were chosen in 2020 and have been “on hold” until this live ADFEST. The Fabulous Five Commendation and Popular Vote will be announced the Award Presentation on Friday 24 March at 18.00.
And this year’s 15 Young Lotus teams come from fifteen different countries, including for the first time, Vientiane, to participate in the Young Lotus Workshop presented by Ogilvy Asia-Pacific. This year’s Young Lotus Workshop is co-chaired by Reed Collins, CCO and Kent Wertime, Co-CEO of Ogilvy Asia-Pacific. The winners of both the Young Lotus and the Popular Vote will be revealed at the ADFEST Lotus Awards on Saturday 25 March at 18.00.
For many delegates the highlight is the awards presentations. These start at 18.00 on Friday 24 March and Saturday 25 March.
